This glaze features a glossy grey finish with a crazing effect.
It has a slightly runny consistency.
Our glazes come in liquid form for easy application with a brush. They have a creamy texture, and you can add water to thin them for dipping or pouring.
Apply 3 to 4 coats for the best results.
It is recommended to leave a 5mm to 10mm space from the bottom layer of bisqueware, especially with runny glazes.
This is a non-food-safe glaze and is not suitable for dinnerware.
The samples shown in the pictures have been fired using oxidation in SKUTT Electric Kilns at Cone 8 (medium firing).
Please note that the colour and texture of the glaze may differ from what is shown in the pictures, as it can be challenging to capture the exact appearance.
Safety Warnings: We recommend testing the glaze before using it for production, as there may be variations in firing temperature and potential contamination. Always wear a mask for your safety. These glazes take some time to dry, so ensure that the first coat is completely dry before applying a second or third coat.
